In this section there are one
hundred photographs of real butterflies please feel free to print them
and take your favorite to your tattoo parlor. Butterflies have four stages in
their life cycle. The first is the egg stage, the eggs are usually laid on
the underside of a leaf, some species will only lay eggs on one species of
plant. Next comes the caterpillar or larvae who's main task is to consume as
much leaf matter as possible to fuel it through the third stage, the
chrysalis or pupa that hangs on the underside of a leaf apparently dormant
but undergoing complete metamorphosis from the small grub like larvae to the
larger four winged creature that is the subject of this website.
